Hi all,
as probably most of you know, Cisco has announced yesterday a new service:
the "Cisco Learning Labs" based on IOU, IOS on Unix.
You can read all the details on the Cisco Learning Network Store
I found also a very interesting this post of Keith Barker:
https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/blogs/vip-perspectives/2011/04/12/cisco-ios-on-unix-labs-are-available-now
(nice to see the Cisco Learning Labs in action!)
These labs are designed for CCNP, CCIP and CCNA students, they haven't announced anything for CCIEs (not yet maybe?), so what's the interest for a CCIEs candidates?
Well, as you might know, the first part of the CCIE routing and switching exam is based on IOU, so it can be a good idea to try this platform before the "big day", just to see how do you feel on IOU routers and switches.

Does this use L2IOU or just regular L3 IOU?
Looking at the videos, seems it's using L2IOU as well as L3 IOU.
